Review methodology

What a TokenHell review does and does not claim, and why some reviews carry no score.

Last updated 10 August 2026

Scope

Reviews cover exchanges, brokers and trading platforms, and wallets. Each review states its subject explicitly.

What we assess

Observable product surface: onboarding, supported assets and markets, fee schedules as published, deposit and withdrawal mechanics, platform usability, security features, and support responsiveness.

Publicly documented regulatory registrations and corporate disclosures, quoted as found rather than characterised.

Scoring

A numeric score is published only where a documented assessment produced one. Reviews migrated from the legacy archive without a recorded methodology are displayed without a score rather than being assigned one retrospectively.

Absence of a score is not a judgement about the subject.

Disclosure

Where a review contains affiliate links, the record is labelled and the disclosure appears on the page. Affiliate arrangements never determine conclusions, ordering or scores.

Corrections and updates

Products change. Reviews carry a publication date and, where revised, an updated date. Factual errors are corrected under the corrections policy.
