Target

This site is built against the WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria.

Implemented

• Semantic landmarks and a single H1 on every page, with a skip link to the main content.
• Keyboard operation for all interactive controls, with a visible focus indicator.
• Text and interface contrast checked against AA thresholds on the dark palette.
• Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 CSS pixels on navigation and controls.
• Descriptive alternative text on content images, and decorative layers hidden from assistive technology.
• Reduced-motion support: the ambient background stops animating when you request reduced motion.
• Layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling from small phones to wide desktops.

Known limitations

Some images migrated from the legacy archive have alternative text derived from their captions or titles; these are being reviewed record by record.

Embedded third-party content may not meet the same standard.
