Corrections policy
How to report an error and how corrections are recorded.
Last updated 10 August 2026
Reporting an error
Send the page URL, the specific statement you believe is wrong, and any supporting source. Requests without a specific, checkable claim cannot be actioned.
How we correct
- Material factual errors are corrected in the body and the record's updated date changes so the revision is visible.
- Where a correction changes the substance of a story, a note explaining the change is added to the record.
- Typographical fixes that do not affect meaning are made silently.
Takedown requests
Accurate, lawfully published reporting is not removed on request. Where a claim is shown to be inaccurate, it is corrected or withdrawn with a note.
